Online crash analysis suggested a "better" NVIDIA display
adapter driver "Windows XP/2000 Version: 53.03
Release Date: December 9, 2003 WHQL Certified "
for my dell Latitude C840 because of a failure.

Since I updated after a problem that occured once, my
computer is crashing multiple times a day by resetting
the display to 640x480 with only a few colors and telling
me Windows had a serious problem.

They are trying to be too smart and it is not working.
The improvement that was recommended is alot worse.

Any ideas?
Peter

Get the Video Driver for your particular card directly from the Nvidia website
Uninstall the old driver and install the new one
