My F buttons

So here's the story. I'm a gamer, i play games all the
time, and im good, the thing is that most games require
players to use the f buttons. Now my f buttons work on
and off, and sometimes i can only get a couple to
function, like right now. Im getting desperate, because
im addicted to video games, and without my f buttons im a
cripple, please reply back or email me with any
solutions, id appreciate it.

This does not sound like an XP problem.

Also, it's in bad taste to ask someone to email you in a newsgroup post.

If you have a "new enhanced" keyboard, there is a F-Lock key
which sets the F keys to the standard Functions...otherwise
those keys do other things.

You might look for a new keyboard, gamers use their keys
hard and often and the switches can fail...find a keyboard
you like and buy two...
