I have a machine with Windows XP Pro installed (Pentium III 933Mhz 128 MB
RAM) and another one with Windows 2000 (Pentium III 600Mhz 384 MB RAM).
Both with completely different hardware configuration. Is it posible to just
move the harddrive from the Win 2000 machine and install it on the XP in
order to get a machine with dual OS each one on its own harddrive? If that
is not the case, what else will I need to do?

No. See "How to Multiple Boot Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT,
Windows 95, Windows 98, and MS-DOS"
