I've just borrowed a lovely big Sony, Trinitron monitor
from a friend temporarily and unfortunately it has shadow
behind everything.
Can anyone help me get rid of this horrible shadow.
I could do a screengrab if it helps.
cheers
Charlie

Hi,

Go to your Start -> and then right click My Computer and select Properties

In the Properties Window click on the Advanced Tab, and then click on the
Performance Settings Button
Here you'll find a list of visual enhancements that have been applied to
your computer.
Scroll down the list and uncheck the ones with Show Shadow.

Hope this helps!

If you've never used a Sony Trinitron before, don't be surprised by two
faint lines going across the screen. These divide the screen into
approximate horizontal thirds and are normal.
