We have multiple Toshiba Tecra laptops that we are
converting over to WinXP. The problem is that sometimes
the Undock Computer option is not on the start menu when
building these laptops. Does WinXP have built in mobile
extensions? Whenever I load Toshiba's mobile extensions,
the Undock Computer option appears. It looks like there's
a problem with the uninstall of the Toshiba Mobile
Extensions (which is why my company won't deploy it).
We're constantly fighting over whether this is a hardware
issue (which I tend to think it isn't), or something
within XP (or rather, we're not loading the correct
software). Should WinXP be detecting a Tecra 9100 dock?
