Can anyone help me,

my screensaver will not work by itself. I can preview it
in the display app. but i can leave my computer on for
ages and it will not kick in. I also have had a
rundll32.exe error when i click on the geforce tab in the
advanced display options. Not sure if the problems are
connected.

I have downloaded and installed the latest graphics card
drivers and windows updates.

Any advice will be very much appreciated

Thx

Charlie

Hello

Is this your windows screen saver or one that you installed, also
have you set the time on it and has it worked before or when did
you notice that it no longer works

Hi Alvin

None of the screensavers work including all the windows
3d and basic. They worked fine up until a couple of
months ago. I downloaded a screensaver from the BBC
website which I checked for viruses at the time and they
have not worked since. I have since deleted that
screensaver but still not working.

ok

Some from that time on it's safe to say that your screen savers stopped
working correct. By the way do you get an error message when you try
to start your screen saver by chance.

No, i do not get a message when i preview the screensaver
manually and it seems fine. The screensaver is set to
come on after a minuite, Have also tried different times
too but still with no success.

Have also checked the event manager but no error messages
come up ref the ss.

Thanx Alvin for your advice

The first option i have already tried and downloaded the
service pack but this still doesn't make a diffence, The
second two options do not really apply as the screensaver
does not go blank it just doesn't come up at all and i do
not use a log on screen as i am the only user so the
computer automatically logs straight into windows.

Thanx again
Charlie
