Add Hardware wizard problem..

I am using DELL 8200 Inspiron XP home eddition installed
with SP1. I have changed my hard drive recently. Now the
problem is My XP is not recognising the new hardware.
When I click on Add Hardware it says

Message Box

Cannot Run Two Device Installations
You can install only one device at a time.
Another device installation is underway, when it is
finished you can try this wizard again.
========================================

I am getting this message. And I have a problem for the
IEEE-1394 controller also. When I click do update driver
from device manager. It is trying to copy
"Texas Instruments OCHI complaint IEEE 1394 Host
Controller" and suddenly Screen is freezing.

Is this Hardware problem because of 1394??


Please help me in this..
