website problem

I am having trouble with several websites that I
previously used. One is JCPenny.com and HSN.com. When I
click on the website it comes up but after about 5
seconds it directs me back to the homepage. I have tried
everything I know of to fix it. I system restored twice,
changed my security settings, erased my cookies and
called my ISP. Nothing works. I have a Dell 8200
computer. Thank you

May be difficult to find but you may want to try this. Click start--run and
type in msconfig. In the startup tab, shut down a few items and then try the
web site again. Repeat this procedure till you hopefully find the cause.
However, try shutting down all virus programs first as they are a likely
cause.
