click on selective start-up. Then to Start Up tab and
went through a disable/enable sequence on each item.
Found there was software conflict. Removed the program
and reinstalled with virus program disabled. If I left
the system config Start Up items unchecked except for
ccapps and ccvfry it would improve the boot. Not being XP
guru I used my XP CD and reinstalled OS. It eliminated
the problem and all seems okay after several weeks.
