bwalsh,

I have no solution. My computer is stuck in a setup loop.
Do NOT run setup once it is locked, because the setup
protocol did not re-activate the keyboard or mouse. I
therefore don't seem to be able (yet) to get out of setup.

If I find something, I'll post it. Please do the same.

If you are using a USB keyboard or mouse you may have issues. See if you
don't have an old PS2 keyboard in your closet or go buy a dirt cheap one for
under $10 at a local computer store. That should restore your keyboard
support so you can navigate outside of XP while you trouble shoot the
installation issues.
