HELP

I am not sure if I am on the right section but need hel
with a problem. I am on Windows XP home edition, and have
two user profiles, one the administrator, and the other
guest user. All has been fine until yesterday for some
unknown reason the guest profile would not allow use of
internet explorer, control panel, my computer. err or
message said. VISUAL C++ RUNTIME LIBRARY

RUNTIME ERROR!
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate
it in an unusual way.Please contact the applications
support team for more information.

All works okay in administrator profile. Tried to set up
new guest profile, and same thing happened. can anyone
help please.
