Outlook express

I tried to send a large number of photos by e mail. The
e mail was not sent but remains in my outbox. Everytime
I try to delete the e mail, Outlook Express freezes, so I
cannot send or receive any other mail.

Your ISP or email provider (Hotmail for example) may have
limits on the size of an email.

That would explain why it wasn't sent, but to the issue of
deleting the email. can you move the email to the drafts
folder or just open it up for editing in the outbox? If so
try deleting some the attachments and then try sending it
again in parts.

If that doesn't work I'm sure somebody will have another
suggestion.

The Outbox file is corrupt.
Move messages that you want to keep out of the folder.
Close OE.
Search for outbox.dbx. Search hidden files.
Delete the file.
Restart OE.
