In the browse window a few shortcts are on the left, such as "my computer",
"my documents" and so on. Is there a way for me to put a folder of my choice
in this area?
Thanks

TweakUI for XP has a menu that allows you to show/hide the "places" in the
open/save dialogs. It also allows you to create a custom places bar.
NOTE: Some programs may override your settings when working in those
applications. MS Office, for example, has a very independent dialog system.
