I just got a call from my exwife who lives out of state,
shes running XP on an unknown computer type. Everything
was fife, and it all flipped upside down. Is there a
setting in XP that does that? Can anyone tell me a way to
fix it. I dont have XP on my PC so I have on clue whats on
it. Please Help!!

Open XP's System Restore program and select a Restore Point that
was created prior to your problem becoming known.

[Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore]

I doubt that it has anything to do with XP.

I've seen it as feature in some graphics card drivers. (Display control
panel, Settings tab, Advanced button. That applies to Win9X, Win2k, and XP.)
The setting is available on my graphics card (ATI Radeon 9700 Pro, Catalyst
3.2 drivers), and I recall that it existed in recent versions of the drivers
for an older card (nVidia Geforce 4 Ti 4200). Mousing around an inverted
screen to switch it back is a little awkward.

On the other hand, the ability to read upside down is regarded as a useful
skill for managers. Maybe it'll be good training.

HTH.

Spam dodger may be in use. Replace nkbob with bobkn.

Hi,

Has Pivot software installed on the PC?
If yes, right click the mouse on desktop and select rotate
90, 180, or 270 degrees.

Some nvidia drivers also have this feature, visit
nvidia.com for details.

Another possibility is someone playing a joke on her, there have always been
various programs available on the internet that will do things like flip the
screen upside down, shake it, move windows around etc.
