attachments

I really had the Windows XP Home Edition installed on my
computer, but cannot open attachments from my email...Can
someone please tell me how to reconfigure my computer so
that I can get my attachments?? Please help...Thanks,

Open Outlook Express and from the Toolbar select:

Tools > Options > Security (tab) and uncheck

"DO NOT ALLOW ATTACHMENTS TO BE SAVED=20
OR OPENED THAT COULD POTENTIALLY BE A VIRUS"

and click APPLY.
