I'm thinking of getting a new sound card for my computer
because my current SB Live! card is making too many popping
noises. What in your opinion is a good sound card to have
if you're running Windows XP?

Thanks in advance,
Norma

The SoundBlaster Audigy 2 seems pretty impressive so far and I've had no
popping problems with it in XP. If you'd like to move away from Creative
Labs though, then I can also recommend the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz card
(marketed as the VideoLogic SonicFury in Europe). I used that for a long
time with XP, it's good value and excellent quality.

Hello Norma

Well anything by creativelabs would be great, but choose which you like
I currently use Creativelabs and they work great and are supported by
XP
