View Full Version : NTLDR is missing

I have XP Pro on a PC that has run incident-free for over
a year. Out of the blue it now boots to the error "NTLDR
is missing. Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to restart." Rebooting
just brings me to the same error. MS Knowledgebase
article #320397 identifies this as a known problem and
says I need to contact Microsoft to obtain a copy
of "Bcupdate2" to resolve this. I've searched Microsoft's
download section for this file but cannot find it. Anyone
know how I can get it, and how to use it? Or any other
ideas on how to resolve my issue? Thanks!
