As long as the inf/drivers for your motherboard's chipset note the presense
of AGP8x and you are using it, Windows XP will support it. There may even
be a special updated AGP driver that may be included with the motherboard's
chipset drivers or they may come separately. You'll need to check what you
have and download/install accordingy.

Just make sure you've installed it in addition to the proper drivers for
your video card and you should be good.
