Hey, I just tried to install a Sony DDU1621 DVD Drive on
Windows XP Pro and it got detected by my BIOS as "OTHER"
instead of "CD-ROM" my BIOS is Basic Compaq. When Windows
boots up it says it found a new device but it does not
give it a driver, and when I tried to look for one in
Windows none could be found. I tried looking for a driver
on the web but every site says thats there are no drivers
required for Windows XP, also the Sony website wasn't
much help no drivers either. Is it my BIOS? or is this is
Win XP problem? Any advice/help would be appreciated,
