I can't get any of the movies on the Do Amazing Things
DVD from Microsoft to work. It goes to the following
address to get a license but it can't find one because
the page is not there:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/dvd/drm.asp

Microsoft is shipping these CD's everywhere, but you
can't play the bonus content. I can't contact Microsoft
because I'm certainly not going to pay $35 to tell them
the problem. Anyone know how to contact Micrisoft to let
them know or if there is another link you can visit.

Do you have a DVD player installed?

I found out that you have to play at least one of the movies while
connected to the net from the shell first before playing them alone. I
think the shell somehow passes the correct location to get the license
data. After that you can play them directly from the DVD without the
interface or even copy them to your HD and play from there.

Most of them are just previews and snippets from the movies and
feature length films. Thew bmwfilms shorts you can download from the
www.bmwfilms.com (http://usa.bmwfilms.com/clap.asp?template=enhancedfilms&country=usa&film=)
website without the Digital Rights Management. But of course they are
in High Quality Quicktime format.. and run about 101Mb - 108Mb each.
