I cannot seem to get anywhere with XP (sounds like I am
not the only one). I had to do a system recovery on my HP
502c. Before I did this - I had no problem with using my
USB for my scanner and my Nomad. Now when I try to load
the driver to both I get a wrong driver error and an
access is denied respectively. I have downloaded the SP-1
and installed it along with all the drivers available in
HP recovery. I have doublechecked the drivers. I have
been to the websites of the manufactures. The only thing
with my system that seems a little goofy is that the
driver for my Sony 160e CD-RW is a generic Microsoft
driver, but I have been able to use it to write - so I am
not sure if it is contributing to the problem....Creative
had me unistall everything including virus software and
try to reinstall and that did not work either. I have
about 15 hours into it and I am dying for someone to
PLEASE PUT ME OUT OF MY MISERY! :)
