I have 2.2Ghz xp professional box. It shipped with 2 128
pc2100 DDR SDRAM, I recently upgraded to a single 512 of
the same type with nothing in any of the other slots.
In the Bio's is says I have 512 installed, in Windows XP
if I right click on the my computer icon, under the
general tab it says I have 256, if I go to
start/programs/system tools/system info, it says I have
512. What is wrong? Am I getting 512 or am I only using
half? Which one is right/wrong and/or how do I fix this?
Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.
