I have been trying to get my Brother HL-1040 printer to
work after an upgrade to XP. I contacted the Brother site
and received a message saying that ECP mode was too fast
for this printer and I should change the mode in CMOS.
How do I do this.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello

When your pc boots up it will say either PRESS-F10 FOR SETUP
OR
DELETE OR ECS
Either one of these keys will enable you to go into your computer Bios
and modify or change your settings. You will see this when you firrst
turn your pc on or on a reboot
