I installed Windows XP on a Dell PIII system recently.
Everything went well untill I did the 'updates'. Before
the update, the computer would turn itself off when you
choose to do so. After I got caught up on all the
updates, this stopped happening. If I choose to turn off
the system, it does not turn off it just restarts. Does
anyone know what update would have undone my good thing ?
Is there some setting that needs to be tweaked ?
