Recently, I used NTFS and compressed all of my drives.
Unknowingly, a file c:\ntldr.dll got compressed. Then my
computer failed to boot and I had to get it formatted. I
reinstalled XP and I swear I will never again use NTFS.

Hello

NTFS was not the problem, compressing the drive was the problem
and actually NTFS is much better than fat32 for secrurity reason also,
protects your boot sector from viruses
