View Full Version : connecting a Win XP to a Win 98

You probably have the winxp internet connection firewall
enabled.

Click on Start/Control Panel/double-click the Network
Connections Icon/right-click the current network
connection/click on the Advanced Tab/uncheck the Protect
My Computer box. Click OK, etc.

try putting the xp disc in - select 'perform additional tasks' then run the
network setup wizard on BOTH machines.
