Sure is. Start>Run "conf" no quotes. Come installed with XP.

Yes it is, read the prior posts for affirmation.

I don't seem to have it on WinXP Home or Professional. Perhaps if you
updated a system that had it that would explain why it's there.

Start/Run type CONF and click OK. Otherwise, you must have some OEM =
version that comes with items determined by the vendor, which is very =
unlikely.

Okay, I have it that way, but not in the Start menu location that aaron
gave.

XP doesn't have any shortcuts for NetMeeting, anywhere, by default. It only
creates them once you've run the wizard. Its possible that it was picked
up during an upgrade.

XP has a few items that have to be called up in this way that are not =
listed in the start/programs/etc menus, netmeeting being one. It isn't =
like good ole 98 where they were listed there. I wonder why they did =
that anyway, since they reside in the OS.

Can you think of any version of Windows that didn't have little goodies
tucked away in it? I can't. I do agree with you though. Making NetMeeting a
little more obvious would have been nice. Windows Messenger is intended to
supplant Netmeeting in XP but it is not always the appropriate program of
choice if communicating with someone that is running a different operating
system.
