Monitor goes blank after 1 hour

Hello,

I am very frustrated here, as of yesterday, my monitor
now goes blank after an hour or so of being idle?

I just did a windows update yesterday and installed
Q817787, does this do something to the monitor?

I have all of the Power Settings turned off in windows
and the BIOS, so this thing should never go blank?!?!?!

I am only using a screensaver and do not want my monitor
to switch off.

Is there another setting somewhere that I missed?

Not sure try uninstalling the last update, and see what happens

Unfortunately, there is no "un-install" option for the
Q817787 update in "add remove programs"???

Wade

Which Power settings exactly have you already turned off?
There may be an option you've missed.
Under your screensaver options, within Monitor Power, click "power" and
check those settings specifically.
