a temporary solution. I click on the item to be printed,
then CTRL Printscreen, open my word program, edit and
paste, then print from there. I don't know if it will
work for you or not but so far it's working for me.(At
least until I can figure out how to get printscreen
configured).

I run XP Pro on this computer. I used shift/prt scrn just
the other day to capture my logon before any account logged
on. After log-on I opened Paint and pasted the image into
the picture. You may need to check your keyboard for dirt
under the keys or to see that the keys have not been
remapped.
