Uninstalling Windows XP (How can I do this?)

My computer s a 1999 Compaq Model 5304 series. I wish to
re-install Windows 98, but first I have to remove Windows
XP. I cannot find anything showing me how to uninstall
Windows XP. Some other person downloaded Windows XP into
my computer. I want Windows 98 which I have the software
for. Help.

Hello Betty

Well this is what you can do.

1. What every inportant data you have back-it up.
2. If you were upgraded to XP you can go inot AD/Remove programs
2A. And uninstall it from there.
3. Back your data up.
4. Insert your win98 cdrom and boot with that in
5. At this point you will be doing a clean install on win98
6. Or you could use your restore cd that cam with your system

Use your Windows 98 install CD and format the disk.
