According to the microsoft site winxp was designed to
print to a network printer and not to LPT1. They say that
although it will print to LPT1, don't expect good results
so, in a way, ( and Jeez! I absolutely HATE to admit
this, ) the telephone techs are kinda, left-handedly
right. ( Although they didn't know they were right. They
were just guessing just to get rid of you so I WIN
AGAIN! ) LOL
Yeah, I laugh at my own jokes. So?
