I am running WinXP with a Samsung SC-148C CD-Drive. The
PC is a few weeks old but the CD drive is no longer
listed as an available drive.
"Device Manager" shows a conflict. When I Checked
the "Device Status" in the properties the following error
is listed.
"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its
configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete
or damaged. (Code 19)
Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this
device."
I have uninstalled, rebooted and re-installed the drive
but to no avail. XP recognises the new hardware, installs
the driver but the conflict is still there.
Please help as it would be appreciated as I am at my wits
end.
