Can't seem to get this combo to work.
My Microtek V6UPL is connected via USB to my P4 2.53 with 512 DDR RAM. I've
checked both MS and Microtek sites and did the requisite downloads and
"special" installation instructions.
The scanner and software will work the first time I install Scan Wizard, but
if I close Scan Wizard and then open Scan Wizard again the application will
freeze partway through the preview scan. Then it is ctrl+alt+del to shut
Scan Wizard down.
I'm wondering if parallel cable might do me better? This scanner and
software did work previously on a older Win98SE system with much less
resources.
Any help is appreciated...
