I SEEM TO HAVE FORGOTTEN MY ORIGINAL PASSWORD AND
I'M GETTING A MESSAGE STATING THAT MY OLD PASSWORD WILL
EXPIRY IN 12 DAYS. HOW CAN I OVERCOME THIS PROBLEM AND
GIVE A NEW PASSWORD EVEN THOUGH I DON'T REMEMBER THE
OLD ONE.HELP ME GET RID OF THIS MESSAGE ALL TOGETHER.

Or
Reboot to Safe Mode, select Administrator, leave password blank.
Then go to User Accounts in Control Panel.
Select the user and change the password.
If you are using Windows XP Pro and have encrypted data, you may
permanently lose access to the encrypted data.

After this is resolved, take precautions to not lose the password.


Also please do not use ALL CAPS in newsgroups.
ALL CAPS is considered shouting and rude.
