Hi,

Checkpoints to consider:

1) Right click on desktop >> arrange icons by >> uncheck "Lock Web items on
desktop"

2) Right click on My Computer >> Properties >> Advanced tab >> Settings
under 'Performance' >> check "Use drop shadows for icon labels on desktop".

Hi,

Right click on My Computer and select Properties. Flip to the advanced tab.
There will be three 'settings' buttons. Click on the first 'settings' button
(this comes under 'performance'). In the next window that opens up, scroll
down the list of visual effects listed there and put a check next to "Use
drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop". This is the second last option
in the list. OK your way out.
