View Full Version : Conflicit with Norton Antivirus

When you start an install of a program and the first
program dialogue box says, to the effect, "It is strongly
recommened that you exit all Programs before continuing."

THAT is exactly what they mean. Not only do you have to
End Task on Applications but on those items on the
Processes list that you know are not needed to run windows.
These would be things like programs that you have
installed that run as processes. Examples: ZoneAlarm,
AVG, UPS software, etc.

I remember a client who had problems installing many things - including NAV.
Turns out GOBACK, factory installed on her Gateway machine, was the culprit.
