I have a CD burner as any addition drive. While I loaded
the drive orginially on Windows 98 and everything was
fine, I've come to find out when I had my computer built
and XP professional operating system installed my PC now
does not reconnize my additonal CD burner drive.
I've tried to intall it manually through "add new
hardware" and it still will not reconnize it. I bought a
up grade version of the burner software and that did not
reconnize the additional cd drive.
The funny thing is with the old burner software I was
able to copy the orginal CD onto my hard-drive but not
copy it onto the distination CD-RW. Basically I can copy
it off of the drive but not copy it back to the same
drive with a blank CD. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.
