IDE bus

I have Nero5 burning program and it says before I start,
I must turn off the( auto insert notification ) for every
CD drive on a IDE bus, including the CD recorder itself.
I followed the instructions to do this but there are no
drives or recorders listed there. Is that because I'm
using an external USB 2.0 drive? Jeanie

You can do this via the Properties of the drive in My Computer.
Click on the Recording tab and turn it off there.
