While sending or receiving faxes, the fax monitor no
longer pops up and when I manually bring it up , it shows
nothing on it.
I have checked fax properties which shows under tracking :
1. At top a red check with a exclamation mark
2. Notifcationn Area is all ckecked
3. Fax Monitor is also checked for automatically opening
the fax monitor when a fax is being sent and received.
I uninstalled Windows fax and installed again , but I get
the same problem. I am running Windows xp Home Edition
(sp1) and Norton Internet Security 2004.

A number of standard update and repair procedures disabled the Fax Monitor
in the initial release of Windows XP. These problems were fixed in Service
Pack 1. Make sure you apply SP1 if you notice this problem.
