Nvidia Drivers

I have GForce4 440 Go installed on my laptop. I am trying
to install new drivers but whatever I do,
uninstall,disable etc, the old drivers keep reappearing
on reboot. Help please.

I'm having the same damn problem. Here's my method of attempting to
install latest drivers:

-Nothing in Add/Remove programs (already at 2.9.5.8)
-Remove device from Device Manager
-Reboot in to VGA mode
-Install a later version of Detonators
-Reboot and the drivers are back at 2.9.5.8

Help!
