This program is running on my desk top when I turn off
the computer. During the process it says that it is not
working properly. It just started appearing a week ago.
As it tries to load it says that if I exit while in the
process I will lose unsaved information.
I don't know what the program does or if it needs to be
replaced.

You have a piece of HP hardware installed that keeps trying to connect for
updates, download this patch from HP and see if this solves your problem.
