Hey everyone, I've been pulling my hair out over this one for some time
now. I have this strange networking problem involving my NIC its an SMC EZ
10/100 1211 series card.
The problem is as follows, the nic works perfectly all the time, until I
try to play an online game, in this case Battlefield 1942. The problem
with the game is during the time I spend playing the game the network
connectivity just dies. Completely, the nic is still there, I can manually
enable and disable it, to no avail. I've tried the repair connection
option and that doesn't seem to do anything.
I'm at my witts end with this one, any help or suggestions would be
appreciated.
