Belkin USB Hub

I installed a Belkin USB Hub (F5U224), and I cannot event
get a light to appear on the hub. Windows detects the
device, and says it is functioning, but any devices
hooked into the hub fail. The hub is self powered. I
actually tried 2 hubs, so now I am not sure where to
turn. Any ideas?

This hub is NOT self powered. From Belkin's web site:

Package Includes:
USB 2.0 4-Port Hub
Belkin USB Device Cable
6-Volt, 2.5-Amp Power Supply
User Guide

If your device did not have the power supply you need to take it back where
you got it from and replace it.
