hello
will i'm running win XP sometimes it will give me a blue
screen with the message unmountable disk volume
i tried safe mode, last known..,the only fix was format
please if can some body can help with this error

Your hard disk is either dying or you have some cable or
power supply problem. The phrase "mount volume" means read
the disk.

Joe;
Power off, open the case and reseat the hard drive IDE ribbon cable at
both ends.
If that fails:

Otherwise go to the website of the hard drive manufacturer and
download their hard drive diagnostics.
