Quick Launch wont work

Hi guys,

I'm having a bit of trouble getting my Quick Launch to
open / work on my task bar.

When I righ click on the task bar, then properties then
click show Quick Launch then apply nothing appears.

I'm using Windows XP Home on a laptop

Any suggestions?
