I am able to download & install newer XP driver from
Canon, but I am unable to initialize system (required to
run) and successfully print with BC-20 black cartridge.
(Canon's new instructions for using old C5500 with newer
XP are confusing and don't seem to fit the progression.)
Windows XP acknowledges BC-20, instructs me to use color,
but, with color, still no printing. Anyone out there who
can tell me what I'm doing wrong - either in installation
or set-up? Can you send more detailed instructions as to
how you got your C5500 to work with XP. Or, should I
just get newer scan/copier/fax/printer? Thanks.
