I use a zip drive as well as a smartmedia chip to backup
and synchronize important data files between my laptop
and my desktop. XP continually and apparently randomly
decides to change the labels on these devices for no
obvious reason. Can anyone tell me how to make my chosen
labels stick? I have disabled Autoplay on both devices,
and scanned the registry for the labels that XP places on
the devices without my involvement. No luck on either
guess. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
