this will work.
Go to control pannel/User Accounts then creat a new user.
Then log on to that user and log off again.
Then go to your WinXP Partition/Documents and
Settings/"find your user name & double click on it",
select your my documents, favorites, and start menu.
Then Copy then to you new user's folder(that's the one
you created a while ago)
Then click paste
Log on the your new user and tune it to your old user
accounts settings and create your icons again and log off
and log on to your new user account.
Afterwards if it works delect you old user account.
