Hi
The mouse on my kids pc has started to act very
strangely. After a few minutes use, regardless of what
application is running, the pointers fall down the screen
and don't correspond with whatever is highlighted.
The mouse then only gets about half way up the screen and
won't go any further, making it impossible to do
anything. I've tried all the troubleshooting ideas that I
can find but nothing is helping. I've removed and re-
installed mouse and software as well, but it still keeps
happening.
The mouse is a Wireless Intellimouse Explorer. I also
have this mouse on my pc and it's never done anything like
this with mine. Any ideas?

Make sure the batteries are good.

Batteries are fine. Not a joke program or a virus, it's
not connected and I'm the only one that can install
software. The pointer just won't go further than half way
up the screen.
