My computer has 128MB 266 Mhz PC2100 DDR SDRAM memory--
whatever all that means. I need to add much more memory
because it is too slow. The book says I either have DIMM
or RIMM . I need someone to tell me what to get. Thanks.

If your computer is showing you that it has 128MB 266Mhz PC2100 DDR SDRAM,
then your have the info needed to add more memory or replace it.

266Mhz --- the speed at which the RAM is being accessed by the motherbaord
PC2100 --- The RAM catagory description (???)
DDR --- The technology of the RAM slots on your motherboard
SDRAM --- Extra info
128MB --- Current size of memory.

You should be able to buy the following
512MB 266Mhz PC2100 DDR RAM
from Kingston or Crucial Memory.
